It is a period of dramatic Galactic-wide change; the former Galactic Empire has signed a peace treaty with the Rebel Alliance that united the Empire into the New Republic. The last remnants of the Empire as been dissolved. More and more systems pledge themselves to the new and fairer Government. But many are still weary about pledging themselves with a life long enemy.
But after only two years of peace a new faction as lashed out from the shadows. The United Federations of Planets have invaded the Galaxy. Grand Master Luke Skywalker's Jedi Knights have been made Generals to command a building army to fight the faction, to save the Galaxy once again. But building an army is a slow process and many Jedi are leaving the Order to try to make peace with the invaders.
The United Federation, also known as StarFleet as settled their massive fleet on the planets of the outer rim, which are not planets of the New Republic. Starfleet's designs of starships are unknown. They come from the Milky Way galaxy more than a hundred light years away. Contact with these strange creatures seem almost impossible, they destroy everything the New Republic sends to examine them. But Captain Han Solo and a small squad of warriors have been given the task of trying to make contact with the United Federations of planets in hopes of learning more about them and make them pay the price for the people they destroyed. Luke is to help guide Han and his squad into the Outer Rim to locate their fleet.
